“I have always had a love
for paper, its perfumes, its consistency. Love its
soul, fragile and yet strong. My jewellery is by no means as delicate
as it
might seem; each time unique, tactile, original, living. With each
type of
paper I receive different sensations and therefore I am inspired
in a
different way, all you have to do is listen….”
This artisan area stands between the mind and the heart. Paper
and every
other raw material worked on with the hands absorb in some way
the state
of mind and the emotions of the people that have touched them,
even if it
was only for an instant.
Creating paper jewellery for Angela was the act of moving naturally
from
the two dimensional page to the three dimensions of the jewel.
Making
jewellery means expressing taste with harmony and finding a balance
between form, materials, weight and colour.

“Siempre he sentido un gran amor por
el papel, por su perfume y su consistencia.
Amo su alma, frágil y fuerte a su vez. Mi joyería
no es tan delicada
como pueda parecer; cada pieza es única, táctil,
orignal, con vida. Cada tipo
de papel me proporciona una sensación distinta y por lo
tanto me inspira
de diferente manera, todo lo que hay que hacer es escuchar...”
Esta área artística se encuentra entre la mente y
el corazón. El papel y
cualquier otra materia prima trabajada con las manos absorbe de
alguna
manera el estado mental y emocional de las personas que han estado
en
contacto con ellas, incluso si fue solo por un instante. Crear
joyería de
papel para Angela fue el acto natural de pasar de las dos dimensiones
del
papel a las tres dimensiones de la joya. Crear joyería significa
expresar el
gusto con armonía encontrando un balance entre forma, material,
peso y
color.
